Athletes and spectators alike are encouraged to stay in downtown Portland the night before the race, both to make pre-registration easier and to have time to see the beautiful city. Some of the local hotels have invited Zone Urban Epic participants to stay with them – make sure you tell the reservation desk that you are with the event so that you get a discounted rate.
